WHAT COLOR ARE YOU? (c) December 30, 2022

Updated: Feb 27, 2023

The sun rises in the morning every day, a kaleidoscope of colors. One morning a bright white, pale yellow, or cadmium yellow. And another day, Father Sky is gray, darker, and ominous, signaling a coming storm. Then comes a new day, and Father is an array of pastel pinks, blues, and yellow with a tinge of green. Always different, always dependable. Always beautiful. And he is always there, like Grandmother Moon, who can change from white to cream or red and enlarge or go dark. She is always there.

The question: What color are you when you arise in the morning? Are you bright and shiny and look forward to the day with a smile, even if a storm may arise out of nowhere? Are you an array of colors, depending upon a fluctuating mood? Perhaps you choose not to look to Father Sky and greet the new day, which offers a unique chance to brighten your or another’s life and to see miracles and abundance all around. Or, today, dependable, you show up no matter how dark, sad, angry, or miserable you feel. The choice is yours, even if you don’t think so.

The truth is that no person, religion, circumstance, or event can make you do what you don’t want to do. If in your mindset, you have been abused, brainwashed, or bullied, you unquestionably do or say what you must to survive.

Susan Gerber of Soul Purpose Driven Astrology believes as I do. She says, “What you need to know is the contents of your psyche, heart, and soul. You can only act with true freedom and knowing that whatever you do will lead you to where you’re meant to go.

The Buddha: It is up to you how long you wish to prolong your ‘suffering.’

And Me: You are not your past. You are a colorful, one-of-a-kind, beautiful sunrise, and it’s your time to shine like the sun. The choice is yours.
